Henry E. Rohlsen Airport (STX)

Henry E. Rohlsen Airport is the main commercial airport serving St. Croix, the largest of the U.S. Virgin Islands. Named for Henry E. Rohlsen, a Tuskegee Airman, the airport handles domestic, inter-island, and international flights and is a key gateway for visitors arriving in the territory. Its runway was expanded in 2002, and the two-story terminal includes ten gates and a range of passenger facilities.

Located on the southwestern coast of St. Croix, the airport is about 8 miles (13 km) from Christiansted and roughly 4 miles (6 km) from Frederiksted.
