Christiansted Harbor Seaplane Base is a private-use seaplane base serving Christiansted on the island of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Owned by the Virgin Islands Port Authority, the facility is home to Seaborne Airlines and provides scheduled seaplane links between St. Croix and downtown Charlotte Amalie on St. Thomas.
Located in Christiansted Harbor in the Water Gut area, the base is centered on the Svend Aage Ovesen Jr. Seaplane Terminal and has a single water landing area measuring 7,000 by 600 feet. In addition to flights to St. Thomas, service is available to San Juan, Puerto Rico, with packages connecting travelers onward to the British Virgin Islands via inter-island ferries.
Because the terminal sits within the harbor, it is within walking distance of Christiansted's town centre and business district, making it a convenient point-to-point gateway between St. Croix and St. Thomas. Henry E. Rohlsen Airport (STX), the island's main fixed-wing airport, is about six nautical miles to the southwest.
