About Haji Muhammad Sidik Airport
Haji Muhammad Sidik Airport is a domestic airport serving Muara Teweh, the capital of North Barito Regency in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. It was developed to replace the older Beringin Airport, which could no longer be expanded because of its location in the town centre.
The airport was officially inaugurated in 2021 and has a single terminal building covering around 1,250 square metres, together with a 1,400-metre runway capable of handling aircraft such as the ATR 72.
Located at Trinsing in South Teweh, about 18 km south of Muara Teweh, the airport is connected to the city by a paved road, with a typical drive of around 15 to 30 minutes depending on conditions.
It provides scheduled and pioneer flights linking Muara Teweh with Banjarmasin, Balikpapan and Palangka Raya, supporting business, government and community travel in the heart of Kalimantan.
