Greymouth Airport is a small, public and uncontrolled aerodrome serving Greymouth, the largest town on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island. It is operated by the Grey District Council and sits in the suburb of Blaketown, about 1.9 km south of the Greymouth central business district.
The airport has a single bitumen-sealed runway, 01/19, measuring 1,091 metres, and sits at an elevation of about 4 metres. It primarily supports general aviation, private flights, scenic charter flights and light aircraft operations, with hangarage and refuelling facilities available.
Historically, the airport hosted scheduled regional services from operators such as Air West Coast and Coast Air, but scheduled commercial flights ended in 2008. Today, charter and scenic flights can be arranged through Air West Coast, including journeys over Mount Cook and the region's glaciers.
