Grand Case–Espérance Airport (SFG)

Grand Case–Espérance Airport is the main airport on the French side of Saint Martin, located in the coastal village of Grand Case. It handles regional flights linking the island with Guadeloupe, Saint Barthélemy and other French Caribbean destinations, with onward connections to Paris and the wider Caribbean. The airport completed a major renovation in 2017 that included a modernized terminal building, an upgraded fire station and a new control tower. Its single small terminal keeps check-in, security and arrivals in one easy-to-navigate space. Located about 9.5 km from Marigot, the main town of the French side, the airport is also a short walk from Grand Case's restaurants and beaches. Taxis, car rental and private transfers connect it with Marigot, Orient Bay and other parts of the island. As a compact regional gateway, it offers a simpler alternative to the island's larger international airport on the Dutch side, making it convenient for inter-island travel and for visitors staying on the French side of Saint Martin.
