General Tomás de Heres Airport (CBL)

General Tomás de Heres Airport is a domestic airport serving Ciudad Bolívar, the capital of Bolívar State in southeastern Venezuela. Located near the Orinoco River, it acts as a regional gateway for the city and for travellers heading toward the vast natural areas of the Guayana region, including Canaima National Park and the Angel Falls area.

The airport is situated close to Ciudad Bolívar, with sources placing it roughly three to eight kilometres from the city centre, and it primarily handles domestic commercial and charter flights. It serves as a maintenance base for the regional airline Rutaca and has historically supported connections to Caracas and other Venezuelan destinations.
