Andros Town Airport is a small public airport serving Andros Town and the central Andros Island region in the Bahamas. Also known as Fresh Creek Airport, it is one of three commercial airports on Andros Island and mainly functions as a gateway for domestic flights to Nassau and private or charter flights from Florida and nearby islands.
Located about 5 km (3 miles) northeast of Fresh Creek and Andros Town, the airport has a compact single-terminal layout and a single asphalt runway designated 09/27. The runway is approximately 1,237 metres long and is suited to small aircraft, turboprops and select light jets.
As a designated Airport of Entry, the airport provides on-site Bahamian customs and immigration for international private flights. The terminal offers basic passenger facilities including check-in counters, a waiting area and restrooms, while restaurants, shops and ATMs are generally not available, so travelers should plan accordingly.
