Monaco
Monaco packs a whole principality onto a Mediterranean hillside: the Rock's old town and royal palace, the yacht-filled harbor at La Condamine, Monte Carlo's Belle Epoque casino, and quieter residential quarters such as Saint-Roman.

About Saint-Roman
Saint-Roman, also known as La Rousse/Saint Roman, is a quiet residential ward in the northeastern corner of Monaco, set on the hillside above Larvotto beach and overlooking the Mediterranean. It is one of the smallest and least populated of Monaco's ten wards, known for its apartment residences, sea views and proximity to both Larvotto and Monte-Carlo.
The ward was created from the former Monte Carlo quarter and includes areas such as Le Ténao, Annonciade and Château Périgord. Its calm residential character contrasts with the busier casino and hotel districts nearby, while the coastal Avenue Princesse Grace and Larvotto beach are only a short walk away.
Monaco's best-known landmarks are within easy reach of Saint-Roman, including the Monte-Carlo Casino, the Prince's Palace on the Rock, the Oceanographic Museum and Monaco Cathedral. The principality's compact layout, public lifts and walkable streets make it simple to move between this residential ward and the rest of Monaco.
Monaco is also an international centre for business, finance, events and yachting, hosting the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix, major conferences and cultural festivals throughout the year. Saint-Roman offers a more residential base while remaining minutes from Monte-Carlo's hotels, restaurants, boutiques and entertainment.
For leisure and business travellers alike, Saint-Roman combines a calm hillside setting with quick access to Monaco's beaches, cultural sights and business venues across one of Europe's most distinctive city-states.
