Wyndham Airport (WYN) is a small regional aerodrome serving the town of Wyndham in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Operated by the Shire of Wyndham-East Kimberley, it supports charter, private and emergency-service aviation, including Royal Flying Doctor Service operations.
The airfield has a long history in the region. Its airbase dates back to 1924 and was among the first properly paved aerodromes in Western Australia, later serving as an early Royal Flying Doctor Service base in the Kimberley.
Located about 6 km southeast of the town centre and accessed from the Great Northern Highway, the airport is reached by car or taxi. A single sealed runway, designated 12/30, handles light aircraft and regional traffic.
Scheduled commercial passenger services are not a regular feature of Wyndham Airport. Travellers using commercial flights generally connect through East Kimberley Regional Airport in Kununurra, while Wyndham remains a direct gateway for private, charter and emergency flights to the town and the remote surrounding Kimberley landscape.
