Springvale Airport (ZVG)

Springvale Airport is a small remote airstrip located in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, near Springvale Station. It is identified by the IATA code ZVG and primarily supports general aviation, private and charter flights connected with the surrounding pastoral stations.

The airport sits roughly 50 kilometres north of Halls Creek and around 84 kilometres southwest of Warmun. It serves as a convenient air access point for travellers heading to Halls Creek, nearby cattle stations and remote Kimberley destinations, although it does not handle scheduled commercial passenger services.

The airstrip has a single unsealed runway and limited ground infrastructure, so most journeys combine a flight with a road transfer. Access is normally arranged by private vehicle, station transport or pre-booked transfer from Halls Creek.

Because it is a remote outback airstrip, travellers should plan fuel, supplies and onward transport in advance. Its practical role is as a local aviation link rather than a full-service passenger airport.
