Wipim Airport (WPM)

Wipim Airport is a small rural airstrip serving the Wipim community in the South Fly district of Papua New Guinea's Western Province. It functions primarily as a domestic connection point for remote communities, with scheduled and charter flights linking the area to other Western Province towns such as Daru.

The airstrip has a single grassed clay runway designated 09/27, measuring approximately 500 metres, and a compact terminal building with basic passenger facilities. Mission Aviation Fellowship operates aircraft from Wipim, and PNG Air has served the airstrip with a small number of domestic flights each week.

Located close to the village of Wipim, the airstrip sits inland from the coast near the Fly River region. The nearest larger centre is Daru, about 50 kilometres away, and travel to other parts of Papua New Guinea generally continues by air or by road through limited rural routes.
