Toulon–Hyères Airport is the main air gateway for the Var department, serving Toulon, Hyères and the eastern Côte d'Azur. Opened in 1966 as a joint civil and military facility, it handles domestic and international flights and is operated by VINCI Airports.
The airport lies about 3 km southeast of Hyères and roughly 19 km east of central Toulon. Its single passenger terminal keeps check-in, security, departures and arrivals close together, while a separate business terminal serves general aviation and VIP travel.
