Tagula Airport is a small domestic airport on Sudest Island, also known as Tagula or Vanatinai Island, in the Louisiade Archipelago of Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea. It provides essential air connections for one of the most remote island communities in the country.
The airport sits close to Tagula village on the island's north-western side, at an elevation of about 18 metres. It has a compact passenger terminal and two runways: a concrete runway designated 03/21 and a shorter grassed clay runway designated 14/32.
Because Sudest Island has no road connection to mainland New Guinea, the airport is a lifeline for local travel, supplies and medical access.
