Scone Memorial Airport is a public regional airport serving Scone and the Upper Hunter Valley in New South Wales, Australia. Located about 4 km northwest of the town centre, it handles charter, corporate and general aviation traffic and plays a practical role for the region's equine industry.
The airport was built as a public aerodrome to replace the earlier Nandowra aerodrome south of Scone. In 2010, funding was secured for upgrades including improved drainage, a runway extension and a new taxiway, with the runway extension completed by May 2011.
The airport has a single sealed runway (11/29) of about 1,404 metres and a compact terminal building with basic passenger facilities and parking. There are currently no scheduled airline services, so access is mainly by private, charter and corporate flights.
From the airport, Scone town centre is only a short drive away, while Muswellbrook lies about 26 km to the south and the wider Hunter Valley is within easy reach by road.
