Roy Hill Station Airport is a small outback aerodrome at Roy Hill Station in Western Australia's East Pilbara region. Located about 85 km north of Newman, it serves light aircraft, private flights and station operations rather than scheduled commercial passenger services.
The aerodrome has two unsealed runways, 09/27 and 13/31, and operates under visual flight rules. Historically, it was one of the airstrips used by MacRobertson Miller Airlines after World War II, when DC-3 aircraft landed during the airline's Pilbara routes.
The nearby Roy Hill iron ore mine is served by a separate, purpose-built airport, Ginbata Airport, which handles fly-in fly-out charter flights. Roy Hill Station Airport remains the smaller station airstrip used for general aviation and local access.
Access is by road from the Great Northern Highway, connecting travellers to Newman in the south and to Nullagine, Marble Bar and Port Hedland farther north. Because it is a remote aerodrome with limited facilities, visitors should confirm access and arrange fuel, food and accommodation in Newman.
