About Port Lincoln Airport
Port Lincoln Airport is the main airport serving Port Lincoln and the Lower Eyre Peninsula in South Australia. Located at North Shields, about 14 km north of the city centre, it is the region's key air gateway for visitors travelling to the Eyre Peninsula's coastal towns and national parks.
A modern 2,500 square metre passenger terminal opened in 2013, replacing earlier facilities. The single-storey terminal includes an arrivals hall, departure gates and lounges, check-in areas, a café and car rental desks, and is owned and managed by the District Council of Lower Eyre Peninsula.
The airport handles regular passenger flights to and from Adelaide, operated by QantasLink and Regional Express. It is one of the busiest regional airports in South Australia and supports both business travel and tourism to Port Lincoln, Coffin Bay and the surrounding region.
Passengers can continue their journey by shuttle bus, taxi, private transfer or rental car, with road access direct from the Lincoln Highway. Parking and onward travel services are available at the terminal, making it a convenient base for exploring the Eyre Peninsula.
