It supports Pardoo Station and nearby mining and pastoral interests, and there are no scheduled commercial passenger services. The airport has a single runway of about 1,000 metres and very limited passenger infrastructure. It is used mainly by private pilots, corporate charters and regional business flights, with access and landing permission normally arranged through the operator or station management in advance. Located about 13 km off the Great Northern Highway and roughly 105 km from Port Hedland, the airstrip is reached by high-clearance 4WD.
