Ngukurr Airport (IATA: RPM, ICAO: YNGU) is a small remote aerodrome in the Roper River region of the Northern Territory, Australia. It serves the Aboriginal community of Ngukurr, located on the banks of the Roper River in southern Arnhem Land, and provides an important air link for a very remote part of the Territory.
The aerodrome has a single sealed all-weather runway (11/29) and basic passenger facilities, including a shelter with mobile phone coverage. It is used mainly for charter, private and community flights, with no regular airline terminal or standard check-in infrastructure.
Ngukurr is about 331 km southeast of Katherine via the Roper Highway. Road travel takes roughly 3.5 hours, with the final section into Ngukurr unsealed and best suited to 4WD vehicles in the wet season. Chartered flights from Darwin take about two hours, or about one hour from Katherine.
Because Ngukurr is a closed community, visitors generally need a Northern Land Council permit. The airport is operated and maintained by the local council, and basic services such as fuel and a store are available in the township about 3 km from the runway.
