Mount Swan Airport is a small outback aerodrome in the Central Desert region of the Northern Territory, Australia, located roughly 150 km northeast of Alice Springs. It primarily supports general aviation, station traffic, charter flights and resource-sector operations rather than scheduled commercial passenger services.
The aerodrome has a single unsealed runway, designated 11/29, approximately 1,300 m long, at an elevation of about 500 m. There is no passenger terminal, lighting or instrument approach, so operations depend on daylight and suitable weather conditions.
Access to the airport is by road through remote station country, with Alice Springs reached via routes including the Sandover Highway. The drive between the airport area and Alice Springs typically takes around two to two and a half hours.
