Mount Hotham Airport is a small regional airfield serving the Mount Hotham ski resort and Dinner Plain in Victoria's alpine High Country. The airport opened on 12 June 1999 with a short runway and was officially opened in June 2000 after the sealed runway was extended to 1,460 metres, making it Australia's highest commercial aerodrome.
Located at Cobungra, roughly 20 km southeast of Mount Hotham village and close to Dinner Plain, the airport operates primarily for charter, private and seasonal ski traffic. Its single compact terminal handles arrivals and departures in one building, with a straightforward flow between check-in, the waiting area and the apron.
Road access is via the Great Alpine Road, and the airport is typically reached within about 20–30 minutes of the resort by road, depending on winter conditions. Transfer, private vehicle and group transport options connect the airfield with Mount Hotham, Dinner Plain and surrounding alpine towns.
