Latrobe Regional Airport (TGN) is a regional general aviation airport in Morwell, Victoria, serving the Latrobe Valley and the wider Gippsland region. Opened in 1958, it has supported flight training, charter operations, private aviation, corporate travel and emergency services, and it remains an important aviation hub for the area.
Located off the Princes Freeway between Morwell and Traralgon, the airport is roughly a 90-minute drive east of Melbourne. It sits about 7 km from Morwell's centre and about 7.5 km west of Traralgon, making it convenient for travellers moving between the valley's main towns.
The airport's single terminal building is air-conditioned and provides seating, complimentary Wi-Fi, basic tea and coffee facilities and free on-site parking, with a drop-off and pick-up area directly in front. Onward travel relies mainly on private vehicles, taxis, rideshare and pre-arranged transfers, with direct road access to the Princes Freeway.
