About Langley Regional Airport

Langley Regional Airport is a community-owned general aviation airport serving the Township and City of Langley in British Columbia's Lower Mainland. In operation since 1945 and purchased by the Township in 1967, it handles private, charter, flight-training, maintenance and helicopter traffic rather than scheduled commercial flights. The airport is home to around 55 aviation businesses, the Canadian Museum of Flight and RCMP Air Services.

Located roughly 46 km southeast of Vancouver and about 20 km from the US border, the airport has two paved runways, three helicopter pads, a NAV CANADA control tower and one of Canada's busiest rotary-wing communities. It operates day and night under visual flight rules and welcomes tens of thousands of aircraft movements each year.

Access is by road along 216 Street, and TransLink's route 372 bus connects the airport area with Langley Centre. Vancouver is about 45 minutes away by car, while Langley City centre is only about 2 km from the airport.

On-site services include aviation fuel, aircraft parking and tie-downs, flight training, maintenance and repair, with visitor parking and additional dining, shopping and accommodation available nearby in Langley City. The airport functions as a practical gateway for business aviation, charter travel and aviation services across the Fraser Valley and Metro Vancouver.
