Keewaywin Airport is a small remote airport serving the Keewaywin First Nation community in the Kenora District of northwestern Ontario. Managed by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation as part of the Remote Airports Ontario program, the airport provides essential year-round access to this isolated fly-in community.
The facility operates a single gravel runway, 13/31, approximately 3,500 feet (1,067 metres) long, and a compact single-storey passenger terminal. Regional flights, including scheduled service by Wasaya Airways, connect Keewaywin with larger centres such as Red Lake and Sioux Lookout.
Located about 3.7 kilometres southwest of the community, the airport has no major road connection to the wider highway network, so air travel remains the community's main year-round transport link. Ground transportation at the airport is informal and typically arranged through local residents or the airline.
