Independence Airport (INB), also known as Savannah Airport or Mango Creek Airport, is a small regional airport serving Independence and Mango Creek in southern Belize. It functions as a practical gateway to the Placencia Peninsula and the surrounding Stann Creek District.
The airport has a single compact terminal and one asphalt runway designated 07/25, measuring about 970 metres (3,182 feet). The runway is suited to the short take-off and landing aircraft used on Belize's domestic routes, including the Cessna 208 Caravan.
Scheduled flights are operated mainly by Tropic Air and Maya Island Air, connecting Independence with Belize City, Placencia, Dangriga and Punta Gorda. Located about 3 km from the centre of Independence and Mango Creek, the airport is a short drive from the Hokey Pokey Water Taxi terminal, which links travellers to the Placencia Peninsula.
