Hector Silva Airstrip is a small domestic airstrip serving Belmopan, the capital of Belize, in the Cayo District. It provides a convenient arrival point for government business, local travel, and connections to destinations across western Belize.
Located about 3 km from the city centre and just off the George Price Highway, the airstrip sits on the northern edge of Belmopan. It was expanded by the British Army in 2002 to accept larger aircraft such as the C-130 Hercules, and it is also used by the Belize Defence Forces for temporary landing facilities.
The airstrip has a single small terminal building and one asphalt runway. It mainly handles domestic and general aviation traffic, so passengers should confirm flight schedules and services in advance.
