Gusap Airport (GAP) is a small general aviation airfield in Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea. Situated in the Ramu Valley at the base of the Finisterre Range, it serves Gusap and the surrounding agricultural area, with no scheduled commercial airline service.
The airfield has its origins as a World War II base built by US Army engineers and later developed into a major wartime complex for fighters and light bombers. Today it is maintained by Ramu Agri Industries Ltd. and used mainly for agricultural flying, crop dusting and charter operations.
Located roughly 90 km from Madang and about 130 km from Lae, Gusap is reached via the Lae–Madang Highway, with an access road connecting the highway to the airstrip. Nearby towns include Kainantu and Goroka, making the airfield a rural access point for the Ramu Valley and surrounding highlands.
Passenger facilities are limited, and visitors should arrange transfers, supplies and accommodation in advance. The airport's grass runway and simple operations suit private, charter and agricultural flights rather than commercial passenger traffic.
