About Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport
Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport is the only airport serving Anguilla, a British Overseas Territory in the eastern Caribbean. Formerly known as Wallblake Airport, it was renamed in July 2010 in honour of Captain Clayton J. Lloyd, Anguilla's first aviator and the founder of the island's first air service.
The airport sits close to The Valley, Anguilla's capital, and provides scheduled regional connections as well as charter and private aviation services. Its compact single terminal handles international arrivals with on-site customs and immigration, while the short runway is suited to turboprops and smaller aircraft.
Because of its small size, many travellers reach Anguilla via nearby Sint Maarten and continue by ferry or short regional flights. From the airport, taxis, rental cars and pre-arranged transfers provide access to The Valley and the island's resort areas.
