Centralia / James T. Field Memorial Aerodrome is a general aviation airport serving Centralia and the surrounding Huron County area in southwestern Ontario. Originally constructed in 1942 as RCAF Station Centralia, the site trained pilots under the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan before closing as a military base in 1967 and later becoming the civilian Huron Air Park.
The aerodrome is located about 3 km west of Centralia, with London roughly 40 km to the southeast and the Lake Huron shoreline and Grand Bend within easy driving distance. It handles private, charter, flight training and business aviation traffic rather than scheduled airline service.
The airfield has two asphalt runways and is supported by fixed-base operator, fuel, maintenance and aircraft services. Its former military infrastructure, including historic hangars, has been adapted for civilian aviation businesses and light industry.
Road access makes the aerodrome practical for onward travel by private vehicle, taxi, rental car or pre-arranged transfer to Centralia, Exeter, London, Grand Bend and other destinations across the region.
