Boundary Bay Airport is a busy general aviation and training airport serving Delta and the wider Metro Vancouver region of British Columbia. Originally a Royal Canadian Air Force station, it was restored and reopened as a civil airport on July 11, 1983, and is now managed by Alpha Aviation under a lease held by the Corporation of Delta.
Located in Delta, the airport sits south of Vancouver and close to the Point Roberts and Boundary Bay border crossings. It provides facilities for flight training, aircraft maintenance, private and corporate aircraft, charters and general aviation, and is classified as an airport of entry with Canada Border Services Agency staff available for international arrivals.
The airport is about 30 km from downtown Vancouver and is accessible from Highway 99 and Highway 10, making it convenient for travellers heading to Vancouver, Surrey, Langley and nearby communities. A modern main terminal opened in 2010 and offers passenger services alongside the two asphalt runways.
