Bella Bella/Shearwater Seaplane Base is a public water aerodrome serving Bella Bella and the adjacent settlement of Shearwater on the Central Coast of British Columbia. Operated by Shearwater Marine Ltd., it supports floatplane traffic linking this remote coastal area with regional centres and onward destinations.
Located next to Shearwater on Denny Island, the seaplane base lies about 4 km from Bella Bella (Waglisla) on Campbell Island. It operates as a compact water aerodrome with a marine ramp rather than a conventional terminal, handling small floatplanes and general aviation traffic.
Travellers can reach Bella Bella by water taxi or the Shearwater sea bus, and the nearby Bella Bella (Campbell Island) Airport provides a landing point for wheeled aircraft. Ferry and marine connections continue along the Central Coast to communities, marinas and lodges.
