Barcelonnette – Saint-Pons Airport is a small mountain aerodrome serving Barcelonnette and the Ubaye Valley in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Situated at an elevation of about 1,132 metres, it is one of the highest aerodromes in France and is used mainly for tourism, business, private aviation and gliding flights.
The aerodrome has a single paved runway measuring about 800 metres by 30 metres, oriented 09/27. It is open to national commercial traffic, private aircraft and daytime VFR flights, with no runway lighting. Aviation fuel, including 100LL and Jet A1, is available on site, and the Ubaye gliding centre operates from the airfield between March and the end of October.
