Anahim Lake Airport is a small regional airport serving Anahim Lake and the wider West Chilcotin area of British Columbia. Operated by the Cariboo Regional District, it provides a year-round transportation link for local residents, visitors, tourism operators, medical services and other users.
The airport has a single paved runway and a compact terminal building that opened in 2014. Scheduled passenger service connects the community with Vancouver, while charter, medevac and private aircraft also use the facility throughout the year.
The airport is located about 2 km south of the community of Anahim Lake, in a remote part of central British Columbia roughly 340 km west of Williams Lake. Access is by road, and most travellers arrange lodge pick-ups, taxis or private transfers in advance.
Although facilities are limited, the airport is an important gateway for fishing, hunting, backcountry tourism and other travel in the Chilcotin region.
