Dawei Airport is a public domestic airport serving Dawei, formerly known as Tavoy, in the Tanintharyi Region of southeastern Myanmar. It links the city with Yangon and other destinations in southern Myanmar, including Myeik and Kawthaung.
Located about 5 km northeast of Dawei town centre, the airport has a single concrete runway and a compact terminal. Its runway is around 3,657 metres long, and upgrade work has aimed to allow larger aircraft such as the Airbus A320 to support the Dawei deep-seaport project.
The airport operates as a domestic gateway for the Dawei region and the surrounding coast. Passengers can continue to Dawei town, Maungmagan Beach and nearby coastal areas by taxi, private transfer or rental car.
