About A.N.R. Robinson International Airport
A.N.R. Robinson International Airport is the only airport on Tobago and one of the two international airports in Trinidad and Tobago. Located at Crown Point on the island's southwestern tip, it serves as the main air gateway to Tobago for both domestic and international travellers.
The airport was first commissioned in December 1940 and was known for many years as Crown Point International Airport before being renamed in honour of former prime minister and president A.N.R. Robinson. Its terminal infrastructure has been expanded over time, most recently with a new terminal building completed in 2025 to accommodate more passengers and improved facilities.
Situated roughly 11 km from Scarborough, Tobago's capital, the airport is close to popular Crown Point area beaches and resorts, including Pigeon Point and Store Bay. Travellers can continue to Scarborough and other parts of the island by taxi, public bus, car rental, private transfer or hotel shuttle.
